Education in Denmark

Education in Denmark has a long history and excellent reputation. Danish education system is one of the best in th world. Best thing is that Higher Education in Denmark is completely free of charge.!!!!!  Higher education in Denmark has different forms.

First type is Academies of Professional education: Offering 2-year academy profession programmes in classes such as IT, Multimedia and Design, Marketing and Business fields.

Second Type is Colleges: Specialised colleges and centres offering 3-4 yrs bachelor programmes such as nursing, business, engineering and education

Third type are Universities: Universities teaching the highest international level. Offering bachelor, master, Phd etc.

First steps in Copenhagen

It has been more than two months, since I came to Copenhagen(CPH). Those two months are mostly getting familiar with you classmates, with school, arranging all neccessary paperwork(to be here legally:)) and exploring that life here has a lot to offer.
 Let's start from beginning. After arrival on 21s of August, we started with orientation week at Academy. During  first week at Knord, teachers and co-ordinatores will tell you briefly what you should expect from next 2 years of your studies. Evenmore tutors gave us a lot of information about life in CPH. They advised us about accommodation,transportation, jobs, habbits and good places where to go for sightseeing or just where to have a couple of beers.
 That week is also full of fun and activities with you future classmates from international classes eg. barbecue on the beach and visit of famous Castles(Helsingor and Hillerod).

Why Copenhagen in Denmark?

There are so many reasons why people want to go abroad. It could be for holidays, weekend, experience, work, improve language skills or study higher education. In Denmark, there are stunning places to visit, beautiful cities and  life standart is one of the highest in the world.

The capital city of Denmark Copenhagen, was voted as one of the most livable cities. It is well known for Tivoli Garden, Little Mermaid, Opera House and also as enviromentally responsible and clean city full of cyclists.

Idea of coming to Denmark appeared in my head accidentaly during browsing internet. I have found amazing information, that higher education in Denmark is complimentary. Since then, piece by piece, I've realised that Copenhagen is city where  I want to finish my Degree.
